In September 2020, OLB Bank opened the new Oldenburg Advisory Centre on Heiligengeiststraße in Oldenburg’s city centre with a one-week, multimedia and experience-oriented communication format. There, customers can reach specialists directly, personally and digitally for all complex topics in the areas of finance, investment, insurance and real estate. With the new advisory centre, OLB Bank is underlining its development into a “Digital Bank Plus”.
Its digital advisory and other services were to be made tangible and understandable to customers and interested people during the opening week. The aim was also to present OLB Bank as a financial institution with a nationwide commitment and strong roots in the Northwest.
Due to Corona-related restrictions on indoor events, we devised a hybrid format based on a strong public presence in front of the new advice centre, as well as detailed and multi-layered customer communication via social media.
Location for #durchSTARTer!
In keeping with the occasion and as a tribute to the thousands of cyclists in Oldenburg, we developed a start scenario reminiscent of well-known cycle races. A large bannered start gate welcomed the cyclists from afar with the claim “Location for #durchSTARTer” and at the same time drew attention to the new Oldenburg advice centre. A social media campaign with interviews, film and photo impressions and a raffle communicated the opening far beyond the city limits and created a digital interaction platform for customers and interested parties.
POMMEREL jumped into the deep end for us and did so with full force! The innovative concept, including implementation and the very short notice and reliable coordination with the official institutions required for this, have enthused us and contributed to an all-round successful launch of the new advice centre!
