In November and December 2019, KRONOS TITAN GmbH in Nordenham, Germany’s largest producer of titanium dioxide, held safety briefings for its 350 employees on a total of five dates. We developed an interactive concept for the design of the lunch breaks. The challenge was to set a loosening and experience-oriented counterpoint within the all-day lecture event in only 90 minutes, a positively perceived community experience that provides for personal conversation occasions.
The KRONOS BRAND EXPERIENCE
Since the event took place during the lunch break, we focused on preparing lunch together. The location was a fully air-conditioned hall at the Nordenham Technology Centre, which is normally used for research and development of innovative assembly processes for large lightweight components. The groups of about 70 people each were divided into eight small teams. Equipped with professional cooking tools, the teams prepared a tasty KRONOS HERBSTBOWL under expert guidance, which was then eaten together. Last but not least, colourful aprons branded with the company motto “ONE KRONOS” turned the event into a KRONOS brand experience for all employees.
A few months earlier, POMMEREL had already developed a convincing event for our site anniversary, which motivated all employees in the long term. Through the KRONOS HERBSTBOWL, this effect was carried over into everyday work. Once again, the agency put their ideas into practice with enthusiasm, great persuasiveness and professionalism.
